What is Pegboard and why is it useful to me?
Pegboard is a visual framework, sitting within a database that allows us to introduce static and database-driven elements to the website we build for you.

Because Pegboard sits within a database, we can trim the amount of custom code that needs to be done, ensuring a quicker and more cost effective build time for your site.

This also allows the core components to be supported and upgraded more easily as technology changes.

How Flexible is Pegboard?
This is usually the first question designers want answered and it's the first thing we asked when we first began.

The system is a revolution for us in that we are not restricted in what we can do creatively. We don't have to follow templates or any other formats.

We can forget 'no go' zones. Pegboard places no limitations on a designer's creative vision and hence your final website.

Second, Pegboard is not a 'one size' solution. Pegboard is built up from a series of modules.

The license fee varies depending on which modules are purchased. With Pegboard, the minimum licence fee is represented by the base module set. Beyond this base module set the designer can purchase additional module bundles, such as eCommerce and eMarketing, created to meet specific functional needs.

When you contract Bluesky to build your site, you have a lifetime Pegboard license included in the price for the modules we use in your site. If you add features in the future, the price you'll pay will be a one off with no annual fees, aside from your web hosting.
